General Information
Funds are currently being raised for the new Waynesville Skate Park. The park will be located at the site of the old horse arena on Vance Street. This is a short distance from the Waynesville Recreation Center.
- The size of the skating area will be 80 x 100 feet.
- It will consist of a concrete pad with modular objects.
- The park will be open during daylight hours.
- Full pads will be required by each skater.
- It will not be supervised. Skaters will skate at their own risk.
Brick Sales
Various fundraising efforts are underway for the park. The idea is to utilize as many people as possible.
One of the primary fundraising efforts is through engraved brick sales. Engraved bricks are being sold to be part of the sidewalk leading to the skate park.
- The price for a 4 x 8 brick is $50 or two for $75.
- You are allowed three lines of text with 20 characters per line.
